The slopes are calling — but you won’t need to leave the Eastern Suburbs to answer.

From 29 July to 9 August, The Terrace transforms into Sydney’s chicest ski chalet. Think alpine styling, a roaring après atmosphere, and all the warmth of a mountain lodge without the six-hour drive or the lift pass.

At the heart of it, our Woollahra Winter Cocktails ($18) — a day on the slopes, told through the medium of drink. Start crisp and lifted with Fresh Powder, take on The Black Run if you’re feeling brave, or settle in by the Fireside as the afternoon slips away.

And because no chalet is complete without something toasted and gooey, we’ve reignited the humble jaffle. Our Woollahra Winter Jaffles ($12) run the full spectrum, from truffle and three cheese to confit duck, right through to Nutella and marshmallow for the sweet-toothed. Available from Tuesday to Sunday from 8PM – 10PM.
